Yard Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Traffic Management: Ensure the safe and smooth flow of traffic, proactively preventing congestion in the yard and at the loading bay.

• Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of job performance and documentation.

• Documentation: Ensure the proper handling and verification of all documentation, including delivery notes and pick-up orders.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

Scope of Work

• Report directly to the Haulage team.

• Always maintain constant and effective communication via phone and radio.

• Maintenance & Housekeeping: Oversee basic vehicle maintenance and housekeeping tasks (e.g., monitoring fire extinguisher servicing).

• Ensure general housekeeping of the open yard area (e.g., assisting with pest control management).

• Report any vehicle or container damage resulting from accidents or incidents immediately.

• Ensure the proper handling and care of all company assets and equipment.

• Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and requirements while performing duties.

• Photography: Take photographs of reuse containers when necessary for documentation purposes.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by a superior.

Requirements

• Minimum O level

• No experience required, on job training will be provided.
