Job Responsibilities
Prepare and conduct routine safe work inspections at the premises in compliance to Fire Safety /WSH related acts. Ensure the building is in safe condition and check for fire hazards promptly. Lead the Fire Safety Team on operational matters such as ensuring at all times that fire safety requirements contained in Emergency Response Plan are complied with, and removal of any fire hazards found.
Take responsibility for good contract management with regards to Fire Safety related systems with clear end-to-end expectations from governing authority (e.g. SCDF etc) and management.
Supported by the Fire Safety Team, plan and conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises, ensure all occupants are familiar with means of escape. Provide training for Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) on first-aid, fire-fighting and assist in evacuation in event of fires or other related emergencies.
Plan, coordinate and oversee activities related to fire-safety, emergency response, first-aid and business continuity. Investigate, analyse, report and suggest appropriate prevention measures in the event of incidents/accidents occurred on site.
Prepare and implement WSH/EHS risk assessment / management and safe work procedures in accordance with MOM regulations and code of practice with the team.
Ensure that risk assessments for all work activities are conducted and briefed and to propose recommendation and review them when necessary. Assist with HQ Safety Department to liaise with MOM on site WSH issues. Advising the Team and Manager on WSH and Fire safety related matters.
Job Requirements
Candidate need to possess Fire Safety Manager Certificate and be Registered with SCDF and have minimum 3 years of practicing experience as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
MOM registered WSH Officer is required.
Minimum Higher Nitec / Diploma and above in WSH / Engineering discipline/Building/Safety & Health/Environment related or any equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore.
Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety systems, WSH standards, and emergency preparedness frameworks.
Good team player and good in communication skills.
