- Assist and advise the Project Manager in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) planning for both the overall project scope and specific activities.
- Review and ensure full understanding of company ISO standards, EHS requirements, and subcontract agreements.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and maintain proper documentation to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site audits to verify adherence to EHS standards, with authority to implement necessary actions, including issuing partial stop-work orders in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Manage and document all accident and incident reports promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate closely with the project team and subcontractors to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Take proactive measures to prevent fines, demerit points, or stop-work orders (SWOs) from authorities such as MOM, NEA, and HDB-this is a key responsibility and performance metric for the WSHO cum ECO role.
