Your new role
We are seeking a Construction Health & Safety Coordinator with experience in pharmaceutical or cleanroom projects to provide HSE expertise and guidance across construction and engineering activities.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, legislation, and industry best practices.
- Monitor contractor safety performance, competency, and resource adequacy.
- Review contractor safety plans, procedures, and SHE programmes for compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and workforce engagements, ensuring corrective actions are closed out.
- Drive safety culture improvements and continuous improvement initiatives on site.
- Manage safety interfaces between project teams, contractors, and temporary facilities.
- Support fitness-for-work and substance testing programmes where applicable.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, ensuring timely reporting and root cause analysis.
- Provide safety support for regulatory reporting and follow-up actions.
- Maintain SHE metrics, dashboards, and monthly performance reports.
- Share lessons learned, safety alerts, and preventive actions across project teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and safety specialists.
- Support the development of construction safety leadership and safe work practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to oversee safety performance across multiple contractors, work packages, and project sites.
- Experience supporting construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
