- Responsible for compliance with Workplace Safety and Health for all Singapore group companies.
- Support Construction Equipment Rental /Sales
Job Scope:
Workplace Safety and Health Management:
- Complete Workplace Safety and Health-related documents including Risk Assessments (RA), Method of Statements (MOD), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Fall Prevention Plans (FPP), Checklists, and Permits to work.
- Develop, execute, and ensure compliance with group (internal & external) safety, health, and environmental systems in compliance with local laws and industry regulations.
- Maintain legal registers for ISO, OHSAS, BizSafe licenses, approvals, and equipment certificates to ensure business operations and project compliance.
- Conduct inspections on workers, equipment, and work activities at various sites to ensure safety standards are met.
- Carry out risk assessments for all projects and maintain a high level of safety and housekeeping at work sites.
- Provide safety training and induction sessions for employees and external stakeholders on products, services, and company safety policies.
- Ensure safety compliance and facility management at worker dormitories.
- Oversee site coordination related to safety, operational matters, and compliance.
- Lead safety orientations and conduct daily toolbox meetings to ensure effective communication and adherence to safety protocols.
Sales & Business Development:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base, particularly in sectors related to safety, health, and environmental management.
- Work alongside the Sales and Operation teams to develop strategies and initiatives for promoting workplace safety and health services to potential clients.
- Prepare and on-site pitch to potential clients, explaining the company's safety solutions, compliance services, and products.
- Support the business in drafting proposal, quotes, managing client inquiries, and closing sales.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in existing and potential client organizations or related industry organizations to promote long-term business partnerships.
- Track business development performance, analyze market trends, and report findings to improve sales strategies and target potential leads.
General Administration:
- Assist with other administrative and ad-hoc tasks as required by the management team.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience on WSH in Construction industry although fresh grads with the strong business acument are welcome to apply too.
- Minimum O Levels, Diploma or safety related field.
- Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B).
- Possess BizSafe Level 2 - Develop A Risk Management Implementation Plan Certificate / Manage Work At Height Certificate / WAH Supervisor Certificate is an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCad drawings
- Responsible + Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on projects.
- Proactive, well organized and meticulous.
- Class 2 or 3 driving license, is an added advantage.
