WSH Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and measure the company's SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) activities, including preparation of monthly/quarterly statistics and reports

• Conduct Safety Induction sessions for all new employees and ensure proper onboarding on safety protocols

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health legal requirements, including annual ISO 45001 and BizSAFE certification audits

• Promote SHE awareness through activities, campaigns, and internal initiatives to support certification and award achievements

• Assist the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing safety-related equipment and materials

• Apply for WSH performance awards with the WSH Council and manage all related documentation

• Act as the SGSecure representative for the company and conduct awareness sessions on national safety and security initiatives

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance, identify hazards, and recommend preventive or corrective actions

• Provide advisory support to site personnel, attend meetings with clients or authorities, and manage issuance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Work at project sites as a WSHO cum ECO when required, ensuring compliance with project-specific safety obligations

• Prepare SHE Plans, Management Systems, and procedural documents to support project bidding processes

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and required SHE training across the organization

• Plan and coordinate safety trainings with accredited training providers to ensure personnel meet certification and competency requirements

• Manage safety personnel, including the evaluation and selection of subcontractors or outsourced safety service providers, ensuring legal and contractual compliance

• Develop and strengthen the safety management team to ensure full implementation and adherence to SHE Management Systems aligned with regulations and industry standards
