WSH Safety Coordinator

Job Description

• Assist in daily site safety inspections.
• Monitor compliance with WSH regulations, company safety policies, PPE requirements and safe work procedures.
• Assist in conducting toolbox meetings under the guidance of senior WSH personnel.
• Assist in incident reporting and investigations.
• Maintain safety records, permits and other WSH documentation.
• Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections and audits.
• Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors and workers to ensure compliance with WSH requirements.
• Promote good housekeeping and foster a positive workplace safety culture.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid WSH Safety Coordinator Certificate
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safe work practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to coordinate with site workers and subcontractors who use these languages.
• Willing to work in a construction and/or marine site environment.
• Knowledge or experience in the construction and/or marine industry.
• Basic understanding of risk assessment and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Possession of own transportation will be an advantage due to limited public transportation access.
