WSH Officer (NEA ECO Certified)

Our client is a well-established organization with a strong track record in the construction and engineering sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a WSH Officer Cum ECO to join their project operations team. They are located in the (East) - easily accessible.

5.5 Days work.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of workplace safety, health, and environmental management systems on-site.

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, permit-to-work systems, and internal safety procedures.

• Conduct site inspections, identify safety non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate WSH committee meetings, safety briefings, and safety promotional activities.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences, and prepare corrective action reports.

• Liaise with government authorities on safety, environmental health, and site compliance matters.

• Maintain safety documentation and ensure readiness for MOM, NEA, and ISO audits.

• Participate in risk assessments, environmental control programmes, and subcontractor safety management.

• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining site safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction site safety operations.

• Must hold valid registration with MOM as a WSH Officer and with NEA as an ECO.

• Familiar with Singapore WSH regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

• Experienced in conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

• Able to work on-site and support project operational requirements.
