WSH Officer

What you'll be doing

• Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Conduct risk assessments, develop safe work procedures, and provide training to site personnel
• Oversee the implementation of environmental management plans, including waste management, resource conservation, and pollution control measures
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure timely reporting and resolution of safety and environmental issues
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with the project team to integrate safety and environmental considerations into all aspects of construction activities
• Provide guidance and support to site personnel on safety and environmental matters

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a WSH Officer or Environmental Control Officer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations, environmental legislation, and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with site personnel, clients, and regulatory authorities
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using relevant software for risk assessment, incident reporting, and data management
