We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to ensure full compliance with the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act and all other relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring our client's safety management system to cultivate a strong safety culture and ensure a safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment for all our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Compliance & Administration (In accordance with WSH (WSHO) Regulations):
a) Perform the statutory duties of a WSHO as stipulated in the ..Workplace Safety and Health (Workplace Safety and Health Officers) Regulations...
b) Assist the occupier of the workplace (management) in discharging their duties under the WSHA.
c) Examine and assess the workplace safety and health conditions, and recommend necessary measures to reduce or eliminate risks.
d) Ensure all required statutory permits, certificates, and notifications (e.g., MOM permits-to-work, registration of factories, incident reporting) are obtained and submitted in a timely manner.
e) Investigate any accidents, dangerous occurrences, or occupational diseases as required by the law and ensure immediate reporting to the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health.
