WSH Officer (A1 main contractor)

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Workplace Safety and Health Management System
• Identify potential safety and health risks and conduct routine inspections & audits
• Advise and implement effective risk mitigation plans and safe work procedures
• Advise subcontractors and liaise with regulatory authorities regarding safety matters or any complaints/feedback
• Maintain safety documentation, including safety inspection reports and audit findings.
• Identify training needs and conduct safety training sessions
• Establish and review regularly WSHE plans (i.e. Fall Prevention Plan, Public Safety Plan, Lifting Plan etc.)
• Monitor and improve WSHE performance, including identifying unsafe conditions.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Mentor new safety personnel and oversee Safe Management Officers
• Perform duties as Fire Safety Manager

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Workplace Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Must be a registered WSH Officer & Environmental Control officer
• Possess a Specialist Diploma in WSH
• Possess minimum 5 years of relevant safety personnel experience
• Candidates with private residential building project experience are highly desirable
