Responsible for company and project site implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines including review and recommendations.
Ensure site is fully complied of the relevant and latest Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental regulations and proper documentation of all safety records, certificates, notice and official related WSHE correspondence.
Account for investigating, analyzing and determining cause of any incident, accident or dangerous occurrence during work process and recommends means of preventing recurrence
Organize safety meeting and safety briefing and toolbox meeting at site including safety training.
Prepare and review all Risk Assessment together with project management team.
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure safety compliance.
Report incidents and accidents to management and maintain of project accident statistics.
Handle all safety and health issues and routines.
Liaises with site team, stakeholders and authorities on WSH issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of site working experience in safety coordination in building construction industry.
Must have completed a MOM-approved WSHC training course with competency certificates and registered with MOM
Work Focus and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
Initiative with good sense of responsibility, independent with minimum supervision, committed and driven to learn.
Physically fit as the position requires the successful candidate to be onsite at times.
