Job Description
We are seeking one qualified WSH Coordinator cum BMU Operator to support façade maintenance works and ensure Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance for our building projects in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
BMU Operations (Residential Condo) Duties
- Operate Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) systems for façade maintenance of high-rise residential buildings.
- Conduct pre-use inspections andensure BMU systems are safe for operation.
- Ensure proper use of fall protection systems and anchorage points.
- Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting and coordinate servicing / repairs.
- Coordinate with team lead on the scheduling of façade works with Managing Agent (MA), residents and contractors when required.
- Ensure minimal disruption toresidents during operations.
Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Duties
- Assist in implementing WSH policies in compliance with government regulations.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for façade works and building maintenance works.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Perform routine safety inspections at site.
- Monitor worksite for safety compliance and unsafe practices.
- Investigate incidents, unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for working at heights.
- Prepare and maintain safety records,reports and documentation.
Job requirements
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace
- Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent (for Workplace Safety Coordinator role as required by Ministry of Manpower Singapore)
- Registered Workplace Safety Coordinator with Ministry of Manpower Singapore would be a plus
- Valid Working-at-Heights (WAH) certification
- BMU Operator training and certification preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in building safety coordination and building maintenance works.
- Experience working in residential condominium environments would be an advantage.
- Medically fit and comfortable to work at heights.
- Good knowledge of Singapore's WSH regulations and guidelines.
- Familiar with risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
