The Role
As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and serve as a strategic backbone of the finance team. You will be responsible for:
- Leading all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Developing and implementing robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business growth.
- Providing financial insights to guide strategic decision‑making and expansion initiatives.
- Liaising with auditors and other professional advisors.
- Advising on corporate governance, regulatory obligations, and best‑practice compliance.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who combines strong technical expertise with strategic vision:
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with a recognised professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a mid‑sized organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with high integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively in a fast‑changing environment.
- Relevant IT industry experience exposure to ERP systems and Power BI will be an advantage.
