Workshop & Warehouse Executive

• Plan, organise and implement warehouse activities in accordance with the plant's procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Manage all material movements including, but not limited to:
• Materials receipt and inspection
• Materials issuance
• Packing, sorting, storage and organisation of materials to ensure optimum space utilisation in the warehouse
• Maintain proper records and documentation, and ensure timely upload of transactions and data into inventory management system
• Maintain accuracy of inventory levels via control of daily warehouse transactions and conduct of cycle counts/stock takes
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and spares
• Coordinate with Maintenance department to ensure sound material management with optimal level of spares kept on site
• Coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the plant's material handling equipment
• Seek continuous improvements to the practices and procedures in the plant
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Plant Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in warehouse/logistics environment
• Familiar with material control and inventory management
• Experience with maintaining material usage records in SAP or equivalent system
• Familiar with MS Office
• Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, reliable and meticulous
• Willing to work at multiple sites
• Willing to work beyond normal working hours as required due to operational needs of the plant
