Workshop Operations & Sales Manager / Supervisor

ABOUT SOAP MINISTRY

Soap Ministry is a leading experiential workshop and natural skincare brand in Singapore, specialising in soap making, skincare, essential oils, resin art, STEM learning experiences, and corporate team bonding programmes.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to manage workshop operations, drive sales performance, and develop a high-performing team of facilitators and customer experience staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Growth

. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for workshops and retail products

. Drive upselling of workshop packages, corporate bookings, and add-on products

. Identify new sales opportunities (schools, corporates, tourism, events)

. Follow up on leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings

. Support pricing strategies and promotional campaigns

Operations Management

. Oversee daily workshop and retail operations

. Ensure smooth execution of all scheduled workshops and events

. Maintain inventory, materials, and workshop readiness

. Ensure high standards of customer experience and service quality

. Handle on-site troubleshooting and operational issues

Team Leadership & Training

. Supervise and guide junior staff and workshop facilitators

. Conduct onboarding and training for new team members

. Set performance expectations and monitor staff productivity

. Provide coaching to improve facilitation and customer service skills

. Lead by example during workshops and events

Customer Experience

. Ensure every customer has an engaging, memorable workshop experience

. Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery

. Maintain strong communication with corporate and school clients

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

. Proven experience in retail, events, education, hospitality, or workshop operations

. Strong leadership and team management skills

. Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset

. Confident in speaking, presenting, and engaging groups

. Highly organised and able to manage multiple events simultaneously

. Hands-on and willing to be involved in workshop facilitation

. Positive attitude, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
