Project Execution & Operations
- Prepare, lead and guide project execution from mobilization, installation to demobilization.
- Plan and execute site operations in alignment with project requirements and local regulations.
- Set up project sites, manage import/export of equipment and materials under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Ensure all works comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
- Lead daily dredging and reclamation works, including marine equipment, pipelines, and support vessels.
- Implement and monitor operational execution plans, resource utilization, and progress control.
- Monitor production targets and ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations.
Planning & Resource Coordination
- Provide input to the Project Manager on execution strategies, budgeting, staffing, and equipment planning.
- Oversee subcontractor pre-selection, conduct preparatory meetings with vendors and draw up scope of work for contracts.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Anticipate and resolve operational challenges by optimizing resources, timeline, and logistics.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and motivate cross-functional teams including Boskalis crew, subcontractors, and third-party workers.
- Ensure workforce safety, performance discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain effective working relationships with client representatives, joint venture partners, consultants, and authorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on site for coordination and operational decision-making.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor project progress and resolve deviations from contract scope, cost, or schedule.
- Submit clear and timely weekly progress reports to management and stakeholders.
- Support preparation of final project reports and post-project evaluations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve work methods, safety, and cost-efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marine civil engineering, dredging, or heavy infrastructure work.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Solid technical expertise in dredging, reclamation, marine plant operation, and heavy civil infrastructure.
- Proven experience in managing project setup, execution and site closure in multiple countries or remote project sites.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project reporting tools, and construction methodologies.
- Able to work under pressure, manage large multicultural teams, and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Candidates must be able to relocate and lead works in remote locations based on project timelines and demands.
