Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Workplace Safety and Health Manager (WSHM) in the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)-related documents and management systems.

  • Coordinate closely with the Construction Team to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with the approved Method Statement and Risk Assessment (MSRA).

  • Conduct regular in-house WSH refresher training for site personnel to enhance safety awareness and compliance.

  • Carry out incident and accident investigations (if any), prepare investigation reports for submission, and recommend corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Support site safety inspections, audits, and WSH-related meetings as required.

  • Ensure compliance with MOM, LTA, and project-specific WSH requirements.

Job Requirements / Specifications

  • Registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).

  • Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience as a WSHO.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Main Contractor WSHO in construction projects.

  • Experience working on LTA projects and familiar with LTA WSH / WSHE requirements will be an advantage.

  • Experience in rail or infrastructure projects is preferred.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.

  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently in a site environment.
