Job Description
Implement and enforce the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures in accordance with Singapore WSH regulations and guidelines.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safe work procedures and statutory requirements.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
Maintain proper WSH documentation, records, and reports as required by regulatory authorities.
Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings for employees and contractors.
Advise management on WSH matters and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety performance.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders on WSH-related matters.
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety and health.
Job Requirements
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant WSH experience (construction / manufacturing / marine / general industry - adjust as applicable).
Good knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively on safety matters.
