Job Description
WSHO
- The WSHO shall be competent in carrying out their duty of ensuring the safety and health of the persons employed on the contract and all client-appointed sub-contractors and their workmen.
- The WSHO shall carry out their duties as stipulated in the Workplace Safety & Health (General Provision) and Workplace Safety & Health (Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator) Regulations and the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
- The WSHO shall conduct regular safety and health committee meetings with the working team and lead a committee on incident management systems with the safety professionals of the respective tenants of the Property.
- The WSHO shall also develop and plan the property's safety and health program, including training, tenant briefings, SOPs, etc.
- The WSHO shall be responsible for correct and safe practices and for inculcating safety awareness for all levels of workmen on the Property. The WSHC shall develop a Safety Register and Risk Assessment file and ensure they are up to date and regularly updated. They shall prepare and submit to the client a monthly safety report based on the client's SO's requirements at the same time as the monthly progress report.
- The safety report shall contain the particulars stipulated in Workplace Safety & Health (General Provision) & Workplace Safety & Health (Workplace Safety & Health Coordinators) Regulations and the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
To be successful for this role, you need to have: -
- Advanced Diploma / Post Diploma in Building, Property / Facilities Management
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- WSHO need to be registered with MOM
