Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), Environmental, Health and Security requirements on site.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable WSH and environmental statutory regulations and timely submission of mandatory reports.
- Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments and recommend preventive/corrective measures.
- Lead incident, accident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
- Prepare, review and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Emergency Response Plans.
- Coordinate and conduct safety, health and environmental training, including SERT drills.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 internal and external audits.
- Monitor environmental performance, waste management and pollution control measures.
- Liaise with authorities such as Ministry of Manpower, National Environment Agency and Public Utilities Board on all WSH matters.
Requirements
- Registered WSHO with MOM.
- Registered ECO with NEA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction.
- Good knowledge of WSH Act and subsidiary legislations.
- Proficient in MS Office and EHS reporting systems.
