Workplace Safety & Health Officer

Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems at project sites.

- Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance.

- Work closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all WSH matters.

- Prepare accident reports, lead investigations, and conduct toolbox meetings.

- Ensure risk assessments and safe work procedures are properly executed, reviewed, and enforced.

- Conduct job hazard analysis to establish safe practices and engineering controls.

- Assist the QEHS Manager in liaising and coordinating with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants appointed by the Developer/Client.

- Facilitate and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS45001 standards.

- Ensure full compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations, including timely submission of required documents.

Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health disciplines.

- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.

- Completion of MOM-approved WSH Officer course.

- Valid First Aid certification.
