Workplace Safety Health Officer (Engineering MNC/East) - up to $7500 #HAO

Salary: up to $7500

Working Days & Hours: Mon to Fri 8 am to 6 pm. Will have night shift as engineering hours are 12 midnight to 5 am

Job Description:

. Establish, implement, and maintain an effective Safety, Health and Environmental Management system including an Emergency Response Plan at workplace complying Regulations, Singapore legislation, code of practices and Regulations.

. Manage & Coordinate with management & employees, client, various stakeholders of project, subcontractors, vendors on SHE related issues.

. Reviewing of Risk assessment/Safe Work Procedure and develop action plan.

. Accident/Incident investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reporting as per site's process and in accordance with legal requirement.

. Conduct inspections and/or spot checks in critical work areas for safety compliance.

. Plan and lead emergency exercises, drills and safety & health orientations and trainings.

. Serve as project SHE committee secretary. And Arrange Safety committee meetings and 100% other meetings among various stakeholders

. Conduct internal audits and Construction Safety Audit Scoring System (ConSASS) audit.

. Safety documents management - ensure safekeeping for ease of reference when required as required by regulations

. Fire Safety - Safety Liaison with Fire Safety Manager of fire safety related matters.

. Environment - Liaise with Environmental Control Officer on environmental matters.

. Training - Conduct monthly safety training and induction courses for newcomers and new processes to ensure alignment of work processes and common understanding of safety objectives with company's strategy.

. Manage maintenance regime for machineries/ equipment

. Worker Competence oversight - Training needs identification to align with company's strategy on enhancing productivity and reducing safety risk.

. Arrange SHE promotion activities

. Apply for annual awards

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Engineering or similar w min 3-5 yrs of relevant experience in WSH
