Establish and maintain a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) system, including the formation of SHE committees, site inspections, and site safety management.
Develop and implement a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) program for new workers, including identification systems for qualified personnel and operators.
Attend SHE coordination meetings, plan work sequences, identify incompatible works and risks/hazards, and develop site maps for delivery and storage improvements.
Handle near-miss, accident, and incident reporting, and propose remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
Prepare, maintain, and manage the Project Safety, Health, and Environment System (SHEMs). Responsible for preparing the monthly SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) report. Experience with ZAP 2.0 system will be considered an added advantage.
Conduct safety inspections and propose remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
Manage Workplace Safety and Health Officers (WSHO) or Workplace Safety and Health Coordinators (WSHC) reporting to respective project leads.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
Professional Qualifications: WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or higher.
Registration: Ministry of Manpower (MoM) Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (at least 10 years post-registration with MoM) and Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA.
Relevant experience in railway projects (LTA, NEL, NSEWL, BPLRT) is preferred.
