Job Description

  • Position: Workplace Safety & Health Manager
  • Location: Alexandra
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM / 10AM to 7PM
  • Salary: Up to $10,000 Basic + Midnight Allowance + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months)
  • Benefits: Medical Benefits ($500/year) with Dependents Coverage + 18 - 21 Days Annual Leave + Company Activities + Company Trips
  • Duration: Permanent

  • shorten They are seeking an experienced Head of Workplace Safety & Health to lead the organisation's safety strategy, strengthen governance and ensure high standards across employees, contractors and project sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organisation's WSH strategy, policies and management systems.
  • Lead ISO 45001 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, regulations and relevant Codes of Practice.
  • Advise management and project teams on safety matters for engineering, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct safety audits, site inspections and management walkthroughs.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and project-site compliance.
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions and statutory reporting are completed.
  • Develop safety training, toolbox meetings and competency programmes.
  • Establish safety KPIs, analyse trends and recommend improvements.
  • Represent the organisation on WSH matters with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant WSH experience, including at least 6 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in construction, electrical engineering, power transmission, substations or power automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, ISO 45001 and risk management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
