Workplace Safety & Facilities Operations Specialist (Regional Role)

Workplace Safety & Compliance

• Support the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety and health policies across regional sites.

• Conduct workplace risk assessments, safety reviews, and compliance checks.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.

• Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and preventive action tracking.

• Promote a positive safety culture through communication and awareness initiatives.

Facilities Operations (Coordination & Oversight)

• Coordinate facility-related activities to ensure offices and workplaces remain safe, compliant, and operational.

• Liaise with external service providers and vendors on routine servicing and workplace support matters.

• Monitor service delivery standards and ensure contractual requirements are met.

• Support workplace improvement, sustainability, and energy-efficiency initiatives.

• Maintain records related to inspections, vendor servicing, and compliance documentation.

Training & Preparedness

• Organize safety briefings, training sessions, and emergency preparedness activities.

• Support emergency response planning and workplace drills.

Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on safety performance, compliance status, and workplace operations.

• Maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Studies, Facilities Management, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in workplace safety, facilities operations, or compliance-focused roles.

• Knowledge of local WSH regulations and safety management frameworks (e.g. ISO standards).

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in MS Office.
