Reports to Project Manager and responsible for all workplace safety, health and environmental issues on site.
Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company's safety systems and maintain effective WSHE related work plans in compliance with MOM regulations
Monitor safety and health aspect of workers.
Lead site inspection on work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures.
Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report.
Attend and present Safety Aspects in Progress meetings
Responsible for site Biometric access & E-PTW system
Investigate accidents / unsafe work practices / dangerous occurrences and recommend remedial measures to prevent any recurrences.
Carry out risk assessment for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at site.
Lead safety induction training and daily tool box meeting.
Participate and involve in ISO & GGBS implementation and audit
All other adhoc duties and responsibility as and when assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree holder or equivalent / WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
Possess valid WSHO and ECO registrations
Minimum 5 years of relevant local working experience in, preferably with Main-Contractor
Familiar with local construction safety regulations
Firm and reasonable and good team player. Able to communicate across all levels
