Formulate and develop Company's safety policy and procedures
Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans
Perform health and safety audits on sites
Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel
Maintain Company's health and safety statistics and records
Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permit and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites
Investigate all accidents which occur and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence
Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters
Ensure the Occupational Health Safety management programme are effectively implemented and maintained
Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme
Hands-on, detail oriented and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Positive attitude, team player and committed to continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in construction industry
Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
Certificate - Design for Safety Appreciation Course
Certificate - Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites
Certificate - Develop Risk Management Implementation Plan
Certificate - WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites
Certificate - WSQ Manage Work At Height
Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.
