Requirements (Short Version):
- Minimum 5 years of WSH experience, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Valid MOM-registered WSHO license required.
- QEHS Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of ISO standards, implementation, and local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce site-specific EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification, ensuring appropriate control measures are in place for high-risk activities.
- Ensure compliance with local EHS regulations and coordinate with authorities during inspections.
- Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Carry out regular EHS audits and site inspections, and deliver EHS training (e.g., fire drills, first aid, PPE usage, hazardous materials handling).
- Develop, maintain, and test emergency response plans to ensure overall site preparedness.
