Job Summary
You will support the Safety Manager to ensure compliance with statutory safety, health, and environmental standards on construction projects, driving risk management and safety performance in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Manager in managing safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters to ensure project compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards
- Implement health, safety, and environmental controls to ensure all works follow established procedures and instructions
- Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants engaged by the developer to facilitate safety compliance
- Prepare and submit daily situation reports detailing site safety status and issues
- Execute risk assessments and ensure safe working procedures are properly applied on-site
- Conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, document findings, and coordinate with Project Safety Team and contractors to close out issues
- Investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents, document findings accurately on relevant forms
- Consistently wear appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety procedures
- Implement and monitor safety measures in compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System
- Identify and highlight training or certification needs to meet legislative standards, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance
Required competencies and certifications
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM (Ministry of Manpower)
- Experience developing Risk Management Implementation Plans such as bizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, including preferably 2 years with a developer or main contractor

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM
