Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily morning toolbox meetings at site to communicate safety procedures and work activities
• Perform routine site inspections to identify safety violations and ensure contractors comply with WSH requirements
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and project owners/users to plan and execute safe work schedules
• Assist in implementing and enforcing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive measures
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Support emergency preparedness plans, drills, and safety campaigns
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on all safety-related matters
• Carry out all responsibilities expected of a Site Safety Coordinator

Requirements

• Possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant site safety experience
• Familiar with local WSH regulations and permit-to-work systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
