Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager, WSH Officers (WSHO), and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) in managing site Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) operations
- Ensure public safety compliance across all work zones
- Act as a Safety Assessor for Permit-to-Work (PTW) applications
- Ensure all statutory and authority SHE requirements are implemented and complied with on site
- Conduct safety induction for new workers and site personnel
- Organise and deliver SHE-related training programmes and initiatives
- Support the occupier in coordinating and arranging resources for SHE-related works
Requirements:
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) with Work-at-Height (WAH) Assessor certification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a WSH Coordinator (WSHC)
- Disciplined, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring compliance
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with authorities and stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership ability to guide and influence workers on safety practices
- Willingness to work non-standard hours when required (off-in-lieu will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in LTA / infrastructure projects
- Certified Confined Space Safety Assessor and First Aider
- Possession of own transport is an advantage
