Job Summary
Support project and construction managers by implementing and supervising safety, environmental, and health measures on-site to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist project and construction managers in coordinating and executing on-site construction activities to meet project objectives
- Prepare and formulate risk assessments to identify hazards and implement effective safety controls at construction sites
- Oversee and manage compliance with BCA's SMM requirements, MOM, and NEA regulations to maintain legal and safety standards
- Supervise and monitor safety measures on-site to ensure adherence to company safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure subcontractors implement safety measures and maintain a safe working environment for all workers
- Verify compliance with MOM, NEA, and other relevant authorities requirements through regular inspections
- Conduct and manage all safety inspection activities to identify and mitigate potential risks promptly
- Promote and enforce environmental, safety, and health best practices consistently throughout construction operations
- Adopt and develop digital tools to enhance workforce management and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) oversight
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess relevant BCA Safety Training Certifications
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with MOM
- Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA
- Completed Confined Space Assessment Training with valid certification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects
- Registered Environmental Control Management Officer (ECMO) with PUB (added advantage)
- Experience with Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Integrated Construction (MET) projects (added advantage)
