Job Summary
You will lead site safety efforts by conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing safety documentation, and driving corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment on construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify hazards and mitigate risks on construction sites
- Ensure strict compliance with Singapore WSH Act, regulations, and site safety requirements to uphold workplace safety standards
- Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and inductions to communicate safety protocols and foster a safety culture
- Prepare, maintain, and manage risk assessments (RA), safe work procedures (SWP), permits to work (PTW), and other safety documentation accurately
- Report safety incidents promptly and coordinate follow-up on corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
Requirements
- Valid WSH Coordinator qualification/certification recognized in Singapore
- Proven WSH/site safety experience, preferably in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to prepare and manage RA, SWP, PTW, and safety documentation
- Effective communication, coordination, and reporting skills to support safety management
