About the Role

We are looking for a Workday Integration Specialist to design, build, and support integrations between Workday and internal/external systems (payroll, benefits, finance, IAM, third-party vendors). Own the full integration lifecycle — requirements, build, testing, deployment, and production support — while ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Build and optimize calculated fields, custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite), and RaaS endpoints to support integration data needs.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications.
Manage integration deployments across tenants; support Workday release (2x yearly) regression testing and remediate impacted integrations.
Monitor scheduled integrations, troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.
Implement secure data exchange (SFTP, PGP encryption, X.509 certificates, OAuth) and maintain integration security groups/ISUs.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and change records; follow SDLC and change-management standards.
Support audits and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and data privacy requirements.

Qualifications

5 years of hands-on Workday integration development experience.
Proven expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, and Workday Web Services.
Strong skills in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and web service protocols.
Solid understanding of Workday HCM business processes, security model, and data model.
Experience with integration troubleshooting, error handling, and performance tuning.
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-communication skills.
