Workday HCM Analyst / Consultant l Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a Workday HCM Analyst / Consultant to support the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Workday HCM. You will work closely with business stakeholders to assess requirements, implement system changes, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requests and assess impacts on existing Workday HCM configurations.
• Configure and maintain Workday modules, including Core HR and other assigned areas.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
• Manage enhancements through assessment, build, testing, and deployment.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, and resolve configuration issues.
• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM, including Core HR; experience with modules such as Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Absence, or Reporting.
• Good understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with Workday business process configuration, security groups, calculated fields, and reporting.
• Ability to develop functional specifications, test scripts, and supporting documentation.
• Experience working in large or complex organisations and managing competing priorities.
• Exposure to governance, demand management, or prioritisation frameworks is beneficial.
• Workday HCM certification(s) would be good to have.
