Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Finance, Recruiting).
  • Configure and maintain Workday applications based on client/business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Lead or support Workday implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Perform system testing (unit testing, UAT) and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide functional expertise and recommend best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and calculated fields in Workday.
  • Support integrations and data migration activities.
  • Train end-users and create documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 2–8+ years of experience working with Workday (depending on role level).
  • Hands-on experience with one or more Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Financials, Recruiting).
  • Strong understanding of business processes in HR/Finance domains.
  • Experience in Workday configuration (business process frameworks, security, reporting).
  • Knowledge of Workday tools like EIB, Workday Studio, or integrations (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification(s) in relevant modules.
  • Experience in full lifecycle Workday implementations.
  • Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., APIs, XML, XSLT).
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
