Wintel L2 Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) in cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

• Perform patch and vulnerability management for VMware and Windows servers.

• Install, configure, manage, and harden VMware infrastructure components including ESXi and vCenter.

• Troubleshooting complex operating systems and VMware-related issues.

• Support Azure cloud administration, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security.

• Conduct regular system health checks, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.

• Remediate security findings from Web Penetration, Infrastructure Penetration, and Vulnerability Management System (VMS) reports.

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and IIS configurations.

• Monitor and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs), document configurations, and provide periodic system reports.

• Assist with backup and recovery operations using enterprise-grade tools.

• Participate actively in incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL best practices.

• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Experience with Citrix administration is an added advantage.

Work Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration.

• Strong understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).

• Hands-on Azure administration experience preferred.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.

• Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework and service management processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, Azure Administrator, or VMware VCP are highly desirable.
