Wintel Engineer
Location: Central Singapore
Salary: SGD5500– SGD 7,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Wintel Engineer to support and manage enterprise workplace infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for endpoint management, Windows administration, patch management, PC imaging, and cloud infrastructure support across AWS and Azure platforms.
This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, automation capabilities, and experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of endpoint hardware and system images, including operating systems, applications, drivers, upgrades, updates, and hotfixes.
- Administer and support Workplace Management tools and endpoint environments.
- Plan, implement, and maintain Patch Management and Software Distribution services.
- Manage PC imaging deployment processes and operating system deployment task sequences.
- Support desktop and server escalations related to workplace management tools and endpoint infrastructure.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing for endpoint-related changes and deployments.
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Deploy and manage cloud services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deploy and support cloud-native applications.
- Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Support backup and disaster recovery operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational automation initiatives.
- Maintain proper technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements- Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows infrastructure and workplace management.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server Administration
- Active Directory
- Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- PowerShell scripting
- Workplace Management tools such as HCL BigFix, Microsoft SCCM, Citrix VDI, Nexthink, etc.
- Strong knowledge of:
- PC Imaging Deployment
- Patch Management
- Software Distribution
- Windows Installer Technology
- Experience with MSI packaging, application deployment, and automation tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and services.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git is preferred.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure certifications will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
