We are looking for a knowledgeable and service-oriented Wine Sommelier to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate is passionate about wine, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and can confidently recommend wine pairings and premium selections.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain the wine list and cellar inventory
- Recommend wines and pairings based on guest preferences and menu offerings
- Provide professional wine service, including presentation and pouring
- Educate guests and staff on wine regions, varietals, and tasting notes
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate wine orders with suppliers
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all wine products
- Support overall bar operations and deliver high service standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a sommelier or in premium hospitality venues
- Strong knowledge of wines, regions, vintages, and food pairings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- WSET or sommelier certification is an advantage
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Well-groomed, professional, and team-oriented
