Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing wholesale accounts and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the development and execution of wholesale strategies to maximize sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for inventory planning and product assortment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Wholesale Manager, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events and campaigns to enhance brand visibility within the wholesale market.
  • Develop and implement wholesale sales strategies to meet revenue targets.Maintain and grow relationships with existing retail partners.Identify and secure new wholesale business opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with wholesale clients.Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive strategies to optimize sales.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and cost analyses.Monitor revenue, expenses, and profit margins.Present monthly performance reports to senior management.
  • Lead, train, and guide the wholesale operations and sales team.Set KPIs and performance goals for team members.Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow wholesale sales and market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals with key accounts, distributors, and suppliers.Set pricing, discounts, and margin strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and key clients.Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms.Handle major customer accounts and resolve high-level inquiries or issues.
  • Oversee inventory planning, stock movement, and replenishment.Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
  • Monitor product performance, slow-moving stock, and market trends.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale or retail management, with a track record of driving sales growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software and inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of the current market trends and competitive landscape in the wholesale sector.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools to assess market trends and sales performance.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and their integration with wholesale operations.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale trading processes, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficient in inventory management and sales forecasting.

  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or inventory software.
