Job Description

Job Descriptions

  • Works with welding engineer on all aspects of shop floor activities for production, machine and manpower utilization and productivity.
  • Monitoring of shop floor to ensure effective welding surveillance.
  • Handling welding sessions & lecturers for welders.
  • Review of WPS/PQR with TPI or customer in line with relevant codes.
  • Optimization of Welding procedures & parameters for joining of new materials.
  • Effective Welding surveillance and process monitoring

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Min 7 years of experiences as a Welding Supervisor.
  • Able to provide guidance to welder on solving welding issue.
  • Perform Problem Solving.
  • Able to operate manual and automatic welding equipment.
  • Handle of company ERP system
  • Interpretation of Customer Welding Specification.
  • Good knowledge with relevant product, technical standards and codes.
