Welding Machine Technician

Job Summary

A skilled and detail-oriented Welding Machine Technician to execute the installation, calibration/verification, maintenance, and repair of industrial welding equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in various welding machines (e.g., GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, SMAW/Stick, and Plasma cutters).

Calibration & Compliance: Calibrate welding equipment parameters (voltage, amperage, wire feed speed) to ensure strict adherence to welding procedure specifications (WPS) and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma, technical degree or Higher Nitec in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field

Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit boards

Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills using tools such as multimeters and PC-based diagnostic software, etc

Familiarity with welding equipment

Familiarity with CNC Cutting Gantries (Bonus)
