WELDING INSPECTOR

WELDING INSPECTOR SCOPE OF WORK:

1) Review of contractor's QA/QC Manual (applicable for full-time Monthly rate inspector only)

2) Review of contractors Inspection and Test Plan and shop drawings.

3) Review of contractor's Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welders qualification records.

4) Steel material inspection / verification of inspection and test records.

5) Verify that the edge preparation or joint geometry meets the requirements of the welding procedure and drawings prior to welding.

6) Witnessing of welding activities during welding and perform and verify the required visual inspection after welding.
