WELDER

Core Responsibilities

• Reading & Interpretation: Reviewing blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine exact measurements and welding sequences.
• Material Preparation: Cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces to remove rust, debris, or imperfections before welding.
• Equipment Setup: Calibrating and operating welding machines (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core) and other hand tools.
• Welding Execution: Fusing metal parts in various positions (flat, vertical, or overhead) while monitoring heat and material warping.
• Quality Control: Inspecting completed welds for structural integrity, defects, and adherence to specific industry standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance on welding equipment and keeping the work area safe and organized.
