Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder Supervisor to oversee welding operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities on construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Schedule, assign, and oversee tasks for a team of welders, optimizing workflows to meet project timelines.
- Inspect and verify welding work for structural soundness and compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to welders to enhance team skills and performance.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction supervisors to integrate welding activities smoothly within broader project plans.
- Monitor and maintain records of welding progress, team performance, and equipment usage.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of welding equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Identify potential welding issues on-site and implement corrective actions to ensure safe, high-quality welding work.
- Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety briefings, and promoting safe work practices.
