Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and electrode welding to join metal parts according to specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide welding and fabrication tasks accurately
• Prepare metal surfaces and identify appropriate support areas before welding to ensure strong joints
• Apply painting to welded areas for protection and finishing
• Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to verify weld quality and integrity
• Operate drilling machines safely and efficiently for fabrication and assembly tasks
• Execute simple piping jobs involving cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes
• Work with various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to complete fabrication projects
• Adapt to new skills and techniques as required to support evolving job demands
• Handle hydraulic components and systems related to welding and fabrication tasks
