We are looking for a Welder cum Mechanic to join our workshop operations supporting commercial vehicles, lorries, and fleet maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welding works as well as mechanical repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding works (e.g. MIG / ARC welding) for vehicle parts, frames, brackets, and components
- Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles and lorries
- Assist in fabrication, modification, and installation of vehicle components
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out rectification works
- Ensure all works are carried out according to safety standards and workshop procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Perform other workshop duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in welding and mechanical repair
- Experience working on commercial vehicles or heavy vehicles is preferred
- Able to read basic technical drawings and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment
- Team player with a responsible attitude
- Willing to work 6 days a week
