Job Summary
You will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC. You will also maintain welding equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to guide welding work accurately
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques according to project specifications
- Maintain welding equipment by performing regular inspections and repairs to ensure operational safety and efficiency
- Operate gas cutters, welding equipment, and plasma cutters safely and effectively during welding and cutting tasks
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum GCE O Level or Welding certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in welding and equipment maintenance
- Proficient in operating gas cutters, welding equipment, and plasma cutters
