WELDER AND FLAME CUTTER

SCOPE OF WORK

. Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements

. MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings

. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

. Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications

. Weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions

. Produce templates and other work aids

. Set up welding cells for serial production runs

. Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor

. Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

. Follow all company rules and policies

REQUIREMENTS

. Proven experience as welder (minimum 3G)

. Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (MIG, TIG etc.)

. Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)

. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
